In this week’s update: Mark Calendars for Heritage Christmas, Second-Chance matching campaign, and more!
In our weekly update, keep up to date on what staff and volunteers at the Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum are working on to lift up the history of Lindsborg and the surrounding region. This weekly update both looks back at what happened last week and looks ahead at what’s coming.
For October 14-22, 2023:
- On Wednesday we hosted a tour group of more than 20 people from Texas!
- Planning has started for Heritage Christmas – 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9. Mark your calendars!
- The Museum Handy Crew has made great progress on the Heritage Square fence and the siding on the north side of the implement shop building.
- We had 38 people attend our virtual Swedish Genealogy workshop last Saturday!
- We currently have a “second-chance” match campaign happening right now through the Smoky Valley Community Foundation, so your generosity with any new donations right now are DOUBLED (maximum per organization is $2,500).

- Registration is still open for a special Genealogy Presentation on November 4 in partnership with “Pursuing YOUR Past.” This is FREE for museum members (check your emails!) or just $10 for non-members.
