In this week’s update: Pavilion work, new and returning gift shop items, and more!
In our weekly update, keep up to date on what staff and volunteers at the Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum are working on to lift up the history of Lindsborg and the surrounding region. This weekly update both looks back at what happened last week and looks ahead at what’s coming.
For August 7-13, 2023:
- Work continues around the 1904 Swedish Pavilion, with next steps now happening on restoration of its main porch and hauling away rotted sections of the pavilion’s reproduction fence.
- We were pleased to have the Svensk Hyllningsfest King and Queen photos taken in front of the Swedish Pavilion!
- We have new products in the on-site gift shop, including yo-yos, a harmonica, and “plant-able” cards that also include a packet of wildflower seeds with every purchase! These will also all be available online, starting with the yo-yos right now, at www.oldmillmuseum.org/product/wooden-yo-yo.
- More Old Mill Mint ice cream is expected to become available again this week!
