Returns & Refunds Policy

Returns

All sales are final and no refund will be issued, except in cases where an item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong item.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if you believe it qualifies for a return so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Please provide photos of the issue, if relevant.

Damaged packages or products related to shipping issues, or delayed shipping problems, must be filed with the United States Postal Service and are not covered by the Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum’s return policy. Once a package leaves the museum, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

You have 30 days after receiving your item to initiate a return request. If your return is accepted, you will be responsible for shipping the item back to us. All shipping and handling charges on returned items are non-refundable and the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale or clearance items, gift cards, or “limited edition” products.

You can always contact us for any return questions at info@oldmillmuseum.org or at 785-227-3595 during normal business hours (9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday).

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your qualifying return to let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@oldmillmuseum.org.

Once you access or download any purchased digital content from the museum gift shop, you may not cancel your purchase or request a refund on the content.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the United States.

Sorry, but we do not ship internationally.

Most items have a flat rate shipping and handling cost based either on weight or the limitations of a particular item (for example, posters or certain limited edition products).

For lower shipping rates on books with media mail, please ensure only books are in your cart upon checkout and enter your shipping city, state, and zip code in the cart under “Change Address.” Ordering other items along with books will result in potentially higher flat rate shipping.
