Harvest of Giving
“Harvest of Giving” is our year-end fundraising campaign, offering multiple ways to support the Lindsborg Old Mill and Swedish Heritage Museum with your financial support!
…about what these efforts are supporting at the museum in 2026.
Giving Opportunities
Please take some time to review these ways to donate to the museum under Harvest of Giving, and choose one or more that are a good fit for you!
General unrestricted donations to the museum: Our goal for Harvest of Giving is $50,000 to keep the museum lights on and the doors open in 2026. Just follow the link HERE to give directly via PayPal, or fill out and mail us the giving form HERE with your payment, or bring it in person to 120 E. Mill St., Lindsborg, KS. All contributions will go to the museum’s operational budget – critical to ensure the museum stays open and growing.
Smoky Valley Community Foundation Match Challenge (November 10 through December 5): Your donations to the museum’s endowment fund with SVCF will be matched up to 50% during this time frame thanks to a $100,000 Patterson Family Foundation Grant to support all endowment members.
Just visit www.smokyvalleycf.org or use the donation form HERE to make your donation under the match opportunity!Museum Memberships: Memberships are a great way to support the museum, with affordable options at $40 for an individual, $60 for a family, or $125 for a business. They form a stable base of support for the museum’s ongoing mission.
Our membership rates in 2026 are increasing by $10 in every membership level ($50 individual, $70 family, $135 business), so this is your BEST opportunity to lock in the lower membership rate for a full year!
Secure your membership today HERE!Raise the Roof on the Swedish Pavilion: The historic 1904 World’s Fair Swedish Pavilion is in need of a new roof to prevent leaks and water damage. We have about half of the money needed to replace the roof with a new one that will be more durable AND more historically accurate. Special recognition rewards are available for charitable donations made for the roof restoration. LEARN MORE!
Millfest Sponsorship: Millfest is May 2, 2026, and is the most exciting event on the museum’s calendar – the one day every year people can take guided tours of the 127-year-old mill in operation! We also hold Millfest for Kids – an educational living history opportunity for area students – on Friday, May 1!
Opportunities to be an event sponsor at a variety of affordable levels are open now, and there are also a limited number of opportunities to sponsor a specific Millfest attraction (face painting, old mill tours, antique tractor show, and music performances). Other in-kind donation opportunities are also available. See full details are in the sponsorship flyer below and CONTACT US to make your sponsorship arrangements.
